Terms and Conditions

Island Escapes Ltd is registered in England (Company Number 9733818). Island Escapes Ltd is a member of TTA (Travel Trust Association) with the membership number Q4181, therefore all the bookings will be ATOL protected. The following terms and conditions apply to the holiday and travel arrangements that you book with us. By confirming the booking, you are confirming that you have read these terms and conditions and have agreed to them.

 

Disclaimer

We will make sure that all the information comprise on our website is detailed and up to date. Island Escapes Ltd have the full authority and the right to amend and/or give notice to any important changes at the time of booking. So we advise you to get the accurate terms and conditions at the time of booking as it can be varying, according to date, country, accommodation and flight. In this document “you” refers to all passengers named on the booking or any one of them. The person who made the booking will be referred to as the “Lead passenger”. “Our, we or us” will refer to Island Escapes Ltd.

 

Paying For Your Holiday

We accept all major credit cards and cash payments. Please note there is 1.5% of credit card charge and will be applied for all the credit card payments. Debit cards have no additional fee. Also there will be failure protection charge added to each transaction.   Full payment is required for all bookings unless there is an option for you to pay a deposit first and then pay the rest later. You can ask our sales adviser about payment options at the time of booking.

Pricing Errors

We make all effort to ensure the certainty of the pricing mentioned, errors may occasionally occur. When we notice any particular error, we will make sure to notify you as soon as we notice at the time of booking. As it can be a human error, if we were unable to notice the error, within 10 days of the time of booking or as soon as reasonably possible we will contact you to inform and correct it. Also if any increase in the price occurs in respect of, Air fares or other transport costs, Taxes or duties payable, including new taxes introduced by any government or Adverse changes to currency exchange rates, we will make sure to inform you at earliest as possible. If a booking is already arranged, you will have the option to proceed with the same itinerary at the corrected price or change to a different holiday arrangement. Should you not accept the corrected price or any alternatives, Island escapes Ltd reserve the right to cancel the booking.

 

Flights Or Holidays Cancellation By You

If you decide to cancel your booking, the lead passenger must inform us as soon as possible by e-mail or in writing. Cancellation will come into effect on the day that we receive this confirmation to cancel the booking.

The following cancellation charges will be payable determined by the date that we receive your confirmation to cancel the booking.

 

More than 105 days prior to Departure Deposit  or 10% cost of the holiday or flight
70-105 days prior to Departure 30% cost of the holiday or flight
57-69 days prior to Departure 50% cost of the holiday or flight
45-56 days prior to Departure 75% cost of the holiday or flight
29-44 days prior to Departure 90% cost of the holiday or flight
28 Days or Less prior to Departure 100% cost of the holiday or flight

 

Please note: These may vary according to your flight and/or the accommodation selected. Therefore, higher cancellation charges may be payable than the charges mentioned above. Special fares in some cases are non-refundable.  Because of this it is important to ask for more information about the cancellation charges at the time of booking. Also on top of these, there will be an administration fee of £50 apply to every cancellation per booking.

 

Changes Or Additions To Your Holiday

If you would like to amend your holiday arrangements after the invoice has been issued, we will try our best to make the changes according to your request, and we cannot guarantee that the amendments will take effect after your booking. For any requests for changes the lead passenger must submit them by email. If it is possible to make the change, there will be an administration charge of £30 per booking for tour/date change, £25 for name changes, upgrading a room, adding a passenger, flight upgrade, or removing an element. Please be aware that we cannot make any changes within 32 days from your departure date. It is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible.

 

Changes Due To Circumstances Beyond Our Control

In an any event or circumstances which we or the supplier of the service(s) has no control over, such as: war, threat of war, riots or disturbances, civil strife, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, fire, nuclear or natural disasters, health risks, problems with transport, severe weather conditions, epidemics, fire or any other similar events which are outside our control, there will not be any compensation payable.

 

 Flight Seat Requests, Airlines & Aircraft

We strongly recommend you to contact your airline for seating requests. Island Escape Ltd has no control over the allocation of seats by the airline. some airlines offer the facility to book seats online at the time of check-in online or you can go to the airport bit earlier and request a seat, and this is not always possible.

 

Twin Or Double Rooms

We cannot guarantee the room type when it mentioned as a twin or double room. It may vary according to the hotel availability on your day of departure. We will try our best to offer you what you prefer by making a special request to the supplier, but there will be no guarantee that supplier will honour this and you may only find this when you arrive at the resort.

Special Requests

Your special requests, such as diet, room location, twin or double bedded room, a particular facility at a hotel, flight seat requests and/or particular meals etc., you must inform us at the time of booking. We are glad to pass your requests on to the hotel or airline on behalf of you. But we cannot guarantee that it will be accommodated. We strongly recommend you to check directly with the airline or accommodation after your booking confirmed.

Data Protection Act 1998

Your personal information is very important to us. We will always treat it with the respect and will never pass it to any other third party, except to avoid fraud and to enable us to contact you by letter, telephone or e-mail with details of our products or those of our suppliers, and those who need this information in the course of providing the holiday services you have booked. By making a reservation with us you agree to the use and disclosure of the information you provide to enable us to process your booking, your personal details may be transferred abroad for reservation purpose as well. We may contact you from time to time with holiday information and offers that we think might be of interest.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that you purchase a travel insurance before your departure date. Make sure that your travel insurance policy covers all the areas. Such as, adequate cover for cancellation, missed departure, unused accommodation and all activities, particularly those considered uncertain, that you plan to undertake. Activities considered uncertain include such activities as diving, rafting, trekking, skiing, horse-riding, paragliding, kite surfing, bungee jumping, travel in light or single-engine aircraft, safaris and all other activities which has not mentioned above and you plan to undertake. We do not insure any activity or any particular incident and it will be at your own risk all the time.

 

Passports/Visas/Health

It is your responsibility to make sure that you hold a valid passport according to the immigration laws of the country/countries are you travelling to before you travel and make sure you adhere to any other requirements such as visas set out by the immigration law in those countries. All citizens of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland require valid passport and it shouldn’t be expired before you come back from you holiday or any other journey you planned. For more information, visit www.fco.gov.uk/knowbeforeyougo for advice and the latest information about specific Countries. Some destinations require visas. We are happy to help you with all the information you need with visas. Health facilities, health requirements, hygiene and disease risk fluctuate worldwide. We advise you to contact your local GP, Department of health or a specific clinic for up-to-date correct information.
